Dinseyland!!

We had a wonderful vacation! It was so much fun watching the kids see Disneyland for the first time! Conner loved Star Tours and tried just about all the rides from Splash Mountain to Indiana Jones.  He really enjoyed watching the parades too.  Kyler is a little thrill seeker and loved Space Mountain and Indiana Jones. Annie loved meeting Micky, Minnie, and all the characters.  She also loved the carousel and It's a Small World. I had a great time be with them watching them laugh, smile, and enjoy the magic of Disneyland.  We all loved watching World of Color, it was an amazing show of water and lights....the boys kept saying "wow" and "that's cool".  I don't think Brian and I could have asked for a better 10th Anniversary then being together in a magical place!!

The first character we saw when we got into the park was Donald, Annie was so excited she couldn't take her eyes off of him!

 We got to see Vader and Jedi and Storm Troopers at the Jedi training show, it was so fun watching the boys get so excited about it!

Minnie!!! Annie was so excited to see Minnie she tried to break through the line more then once! When she finally got to see her she was so excited, she gave Minnie a big hug and I missed it with the camera.

We desided it would be fun to take the kids to a pumpkin patch for Fall Break. So we all visted Cornbellies, which is not much of a pumpkin patch, but they had a corn maze, tractor rides, pig races and many more fun things to do.  Everyone seemed to have a great time!

One morning after the first good fall rain storm, Annie found her favorite thing...water! She took off her shoes and started jumping in the puddle. I got some cute pictures.

Soccer comes to an end again...

I can't believe another season of soccer has come to an end.  The boys have grown so much.  Conner is really working hard on cutting up the middle to be there when the ball pops out.  He also had more play time as they had barely enough kids to play their last few games.  Conner loved getting to take the ball up the field and was suprised that he actually made stops.  I can't believe how far he has come over the last few years! Go Conner!
Kyler is loving the chance to be goaly and to play defence.  He likes to play other games while on the field...he is a great bullet and can shoot fire better then anyone on the field, but when he gets his head in the game...he really does well and almost had toe goals.  Go Kyler!

New School Year and New School!

Well Conner and Kyler are back in school! I can't believe that Conner is in 2nd grade and that Kyler just started Kindergarten! We have had a rough first couple of weeks, but I think we will make it! The school is brand new and not quite finished. Conner likes his teacher and is happy that they have bark on the playground. Kyler loves his teacher and is the first one up and ready in the morning. The school is nearly complete, they hope to have grass by the weekend and the library finished by the end of the month. The kids are very excited about each new thing that is finished and tell me all about what is new at school. Sorry about the blog overload...I was finally able to add pictures to the rest of my older entrees...so please scroll down.

Lagoon

Brian's work had a Lagoon day just before school started.  We decided since the boys and I had never been we would make a day of it.  So we arrived shortly after they opened and stayed until just before closing time.  We were there for almost 11 hours! We had a great time! The boys went on their first roller coasters and I had the chance to go on the newest roller coaster, called Wicked.  I loved the ride and the boys can't stop talking about Bombora, the little roller coaster they went on.  I loved watching the kids go on all the little kiddie rides.  Annie loved the cars and the boats.  She did not like the spinning rides, just like me. Kyler loved the boats and planes and cars too, but his favorite was the haunted house.  Conner loved being there and trying a little of everything. It was a great day and we were all exhausted by the time we left.
