Five Monthes and Counting!!

Annie is a sweet little girl and is growing so fast!! She started eating solids once a day and loves it. She is a very happy little girl unless her toy does not go where she wants....then watch out!! She adores her brothers and her dad...unless it is time to eat or sleep. Eating and sleeping is when mom is wanted.

Sledding

The weather has been frightful and the boys think it's delightful....except when Mommy says time to come in. We bought the boys some saucer sleds back in November and the boys have been dying to try them out. (we bought them early because last year we could find any once the snow came.) So we went sledding while Annie was napping. We could not go very far because the monitor only reaches so far...but the boys decided they liked the hill in our yard the best...for almost two hours they sled down the hill and crashed into the fence and the fence took it! They had a blast!!
"This hill isn't fast enough, Mom." (mom thinks that is a good thing because we don't want you in the street)
Such style!
"Here I go...here I go!!"
"This is so fun!!"

Conner's Thanksgiving

In Conner's class they have been learning about Pilgrims and Indians (Native Americans) and Thanksgiving. They had a pow-wow and a thanksgiving feast. He was so excited and had a blast!!Here is his pow-wow outfit...he drew a pattern on his vest and drum. He told me all about Indians which are called Native Americans and they eat fish that they catch by poking with spears, beef jerky and...gummy bears.
Here he is in his Pilgrim hat and collar. For their thanksgiving feast they had turkey, rolls and something that "looked like lettuce and tasted like broccoli". The Pilgrims lived in the "olden days" and wore hats and shoes with buckles.

We are so blessed to have smart, healthy children, food, a home and Brian's job...We have so much to be thankful for!!
Happy Thanksgiving everyone!!

My Birthday

I had a very nice birthday, with so many wonderful calls and emails. Thank you to all who remembered me on my day, it truly meant a lot to know I was so loved.

Annie is Four Months!

On the 14th of November Annie turned four months old. She is growing so fast!! She rolls over, laughs and gets mad when her toys don't do what she wants. She is a happy little baby and loves her brothers. When we drop them off at school she cries all the way home. She loves to stand on laps, jump and rock...when she is awake she is very active.

Kyler First day of School

Kyler started preschool last week, we promised him he could go to school like his brother if he used the potty and it worked. He has grown so much and has become so excited about learning and matured so much over the last month that he was ready and very excited to start!! He runs to class each day and seems to have a great time. He can't seem to remember what he did when I ask him about his day, but he will remember things throughout the rest of the day and will tell me about it. He likes the toys, and coloring, and his teacher has a cookie game that she shared. He has been on a "bear hunt" and can do all the puzzles fast!

Halloween Fun!

We had two days of Halloween this year and I thought it was nice to have it split up a bit. On Friday was Conner's school parade and party. Conner loved the parade mostly because the sixth graders came in and picked them up from their calls room and escorted them through the parade. It was also Brian's work trick or treat. Then on Saturday we went trick or treating with Brian's family in Kaysville after Val's Halloween feast. The boys had a blast. They loved all the attention they got for their unique costumes, especially Conner he beamed anytime someone talked to him about his costume or made a comment on how he looked so good they could just eat him.

Annie's Halloween outfit, so festive.

Annie's cute halloween booties aunt Tammy made for her.

Everyone's ready to go.

Let's go get more candy!

This is fun!

First Day of Snow

Well we woke up to snow falling this morning and by the time we went to pick Conner up from school it was a blizzard! I knew the snow wouldn't be around for long (and Annie was napping) so we bundled up and went out. Without Dad around the boys ganged up on me...We had lot of fun!!

Carving Pumpkins

We helped the boys carve pumpkins on sunday and I think they turned out very cute. Conner followed a pattern and Kyler drew his own face. We found some fun eyes to put in them...the boys had a blast!

Three Monthes Old

Wow time sure flies. It seems like our sweet baby girl was just born and yet here it has been three monthes already! She is growing fast and is starting to get some meat on her bones which is good as the weather is turning colder. She has found her hands and toes, she loves to drool and blow bubbles and is cooing and smiling regularly. She is so beautiful!
